Neighborhood dinner, Caroling, and CBS

Hello Neighbors,

    I think this CBS thing has been great for the neighborhood.   I met quite a few wonderful neighbors I did not know and I think the video really shows what we are made of.   Thanks to all that have participated.


   I talked with Jerry, the new chef/owner at Cady's and I arranged a dinner night,  Monday December 15th at 7pm.   What we came up with will be $15.00 a person plus tax and tip (the best I could do) for an appetizer sampler and a 25oz beer (my guess is you can substitute the beer).   Cady's does havea  $3.99 kids meal with chicken tenders, fries and a drink.  Jerry let me sample a plate of the appetizers and they were fabulous.  In all, you'll be stuffed and satisfied I'm not lying when I said they were fabulous.   Of course, you don't need to get the sampler plate to attend.  You are welcome to come and just hang out or order something from the menu.   Monday is all day Happy Hour at Cady's too so beers are $3.95 for 25oz.  Speaking of Cady's and Happy hour they now have an all day everyday 'bar rail happy hour' which means if you are sitting at the bar it is happy hour.    You might want to head to Depot Town to check out the holiday window displays - they are looking really nice

   A group of us have also been talking about Caroling this year -- We are looking for people interested as well as host houses (people willing to let us in to warm up,  offer hot drinks, have a bon-fire going to warm up by, snacks, etc.
