Sliders meet and greet TONIGHT 5-7, Financial Workshop, and Other events

YPSILANTI SLIDERS -- 


This is a final reminder for the Meet & Greet with the Midwest Sliders of Ypsilanti tonight at Frenchie's in Depot Town in Ypsilanti from 5PM to 7PM. There will be complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. 



Minor league baseball is coming to Ypsilanti and Oestrike Stadium! This Meet & Greet will give the community several reasons to celebrate. First of all, it's very exciting to have professional baseball in our own back yard. Secondly, it's another chance to enjoy another successful collaboration between Eastern Michigan University and the community. Finally, it's a chance for the community to come out and show its support for baseball and talk about how we can get our own team to play in Ypsilanti next year.

FINANCIAL WORKSHOP - hosted by Senator Levin he thought you might be interested in knowing about Save Your Savings: A Free Financial Advice and Counseling Session that will take place on Monday, April 13, 2009 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Social Sciences Building on the University of Michigan-Dearborn campus located at 4901 Evergreen Road, Dearborn, Michigan. Congressman John D. Dingell and I are co-hosting this workshop in collaboration with a group of federal government agencies and local consumer advocacy organizations. EARTH DAY AT THE CORNER BREWERY - APRIL 22nd At Corner Brewery on Earth Day we’re partnering with Growing Hope who will be setting up a seedling swap and produce market in the lounge from 5-8. And we’ll be releasing a special Earth Day rat pad brew at 6pm.
