Summer camps and the PoPo

Hello Neighbors, 

Here are a couple of things you might be interested in. 

Summer Camps at Prospect Park - - The YMCA will be conducting summer camps, I believe they are one or two week programs, at Prospect and Recreation Parks. This is a great thing for Prospect Park and it will certainly fit in with some of the ideas we have about getting more people out to the park. For the brochure go to PPNA and download the PDF 

Loud Car Stereo Complaint Form -- I will take some credit in getting this complaint form put out to all the residents -- I am working for you. What you do is fill out this complaint form and send it to the Police. The YPD will either issue a warning if you suggest or they will issue a ticket. For them to prosecute the ticket you must agree to show up in court if you need to. I'm willing to get with a group and sit on the corner of Prospect and Forest, or River and Forest and fill out forms -- and go to court. One thing the form does not say is what the ordinance is so we need to figure out the legal part. To get his form with My Blog, Loud Stereo Complaint and download the PDF. 

If you haven't heard, there was a guy arrested in Prospect Park for lewd acts with children around. This was an isolated incident and the police have every assurance this guy has been removed from the City of Ypsilanti permanently. 

Prospect Park Garden Day May 2nd -- Don't forget the Garden Day and Potluck on May 2nd at Noon. 

Flyers -- I'll be passing around flyers next week with a lot of information. If you are willing to help pass out flyers and perhaps meet some neighbors email me.
