Capture the Trash - Tomorrow

Hello Neighbors, 

Please Join me at the Corner of Forest and River Streets between 11 and 11:15am on Saturday April 18th. At 11:15 we will make our way to the Riverside Park Pavillion. We will be competing in the Capture the Trash competition at Riverside and Frog Island Parks. Last year there were only a few of us from the PPNA but we took home the trophy anyway. 

Capture the Trash is a 3 hour trash pick up of Frog Island, Riverside Park, and the surrounding areas. The event starts with an opening reception at 11:30am in the Riverside Park pavilion (Last year they had Pizza and Pop). At the reception groups get orrientation and then are released to pick up trash in the parks. Once the parks are cleaned the groups are sent to pick up trash in other parts of the city. The event ends with an awards ceremony where some nice prizes are awarded. 

If you can't make it for the 11:15am meeting time but would like to help just stop into riverside park between noon and 3pm and help pick up trash. Any help will be appreciated. 

Trashbags are provided 
Gloves and old clothes are recommended.
