Hello Neighbors,
I finally got around to giving the PPNA its own website. It is ppna.ypsi.com
Thanks to Steve Pierce who is hosting the site for us.
There is a lot of general information on the webpage. The idea around the page is that it will be as much of a resource for people who might be looking at buying in our neighborhood as it is information for people that live in the neighborhood.
There is a section for testimonials from people who live or have lived in the neighborhood. If you'd like to write a testimonial please email it to me and I'll post it on the page.
For current information, meeting minutes, meeting times, and that type of thing there is a blog link on the page. I'll be posting all the neighborhood emails to the blog as well.

Hello!
Greetings from The Jamboree, a locally based, family friendly music festival hosted by The Depot Town Community Development Corporation in Ypsilanti's Riverside Park. We will feature local and regional music, art, food, and beer right here in our beautiful park, and the DTCDC will use the funds generated in other community projects around Ypsilanti.
We are very excited to be hosting the festival, but we will need the time and help from people like you to make it a success. Please volunteer today! In return, you get admission to the festival, a T-shirt, an invitation to the wrap party, and the chance to do something that's both fun and good for the community!
We are currently in the promotion phase, which means we need people to put up posters and pass out hand bills. If you are going to any events where you feel you could pass out hand bills, or if you travel to or work in an area where you can hang posters, please contact us ASAP!
The next phase will be setting up jobs at the Jamboree proper. We will need people to do every thing form ticket takers, help in the Community Records Kid's tent, trash collectors, information givers, and ever thing else in-between. If you have ever been to a music festival, you've seen the army it takes to make it happen. We need you as part of our volunteer army!
We do have a couple special needs right now, so please let us know if you specialize in any of these;
Experienced stage crew; If you know about stage production, lights, sound, any sort of stage craft please let us know. We will need volunteer help for the stage area, and we're trying to get the best available.
Security; We are looking for police, retired police, former military police, security guards and any one with real life security and crowd control experience. We want to make this a comfortable place for every one attending, and that means getting people who know how to work with crowds the right way.
Please send me when you are available for work (Thursday - Sunday, and what times) and the following info: name, phone number, email, shirt size. This will help us to get our plans in place
Please send all of this information to;
Andrew Clock
Volunteer Coordinator

Thanks again for all your help, and we'll see you at the Jamboree.
Thanks,
Andy
