Friday August 7, 2009
Crossroads Music Festival and Artists Market 7-10 pm. This free family
friendly event runs weekly on Friday�s from June through August. Some
seating is available or bring a lawn chair. Enjoy a carry out meal from
local restaurants like Beezy�s Caf�, Biggies Fine Foods and Pub 13 or pack
a picnic basket. Parking is free in the Municipal parking lots.
Performing this week: At 7 pm. CB3 - a groove/fusion trio lead by Chris
Benjey on Hammond B3 and electric piano. Pure loud spirit and
improvisation-rich tunes. At 8:30 pm Robin Moore and the Northstars take
the stage featuring backroads country & blues done "Detroit-style"!
Dreamland Theater 26 N. Washington
Friday Puppetry Camp 1-4 pm. Students will make their own hand rod and
shadow puppets, and collaborate on puppet plays for a final performance
for their families. Students will take home the puppets they make and will
receive a DVD of the final performances. Final Performances Sunday August
30th 3:30 - 5:30pm
Sunday � Dreamland Theater presents a matinee for children. 3:30 p.m.

All Neighborhood/ CoPAC Picnic, 1-4pm � Riverside Park. All Ypsi
Residents are invited to the COMMUNITY PICNIC! FREE FOOD! GAMES! PRIZES!
KIDS' ACTIVITIES and more!
Free lunch- provided by local restaurants (Sidetrack, Wolverine, Beezy's,
Terry Bakery, Pub 13, and many more). Special appearances by Towmater and
Doc Hudson! Interactive Songs and Stories with Community Records. Hula
Hoop and Disc Golf Contests! Egg toss and Pinata! Bookmobile, Fire
Trucks, Police Cars. 50/50 raffle to win gift certificates and prizes
from our local Ypsi businesses! All Ypsi Residents come and enjoy the
afternoon with your neighbors in the park!
Rutherford Pool Weekdays: Adult Lap Swim: 6:30 - 8 a.m., noon - 1 p.m.
and 5 - 6 p.m. Open Swim 1 - 5 p.m. Family Swim 6 - 8 p.m. Weekends are
the same, except no morning lap swim. Recreation Park at 975 N. Congress.

Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer-prize winning Broadway musical follows a year
in the lives of seven friends living the disappearing Bohemian lifestyle

August 10-14 Center Stage Productions presents Drama Camp Jr.A week-long
