Hello Neighbors,

I delivered a brief summary of things going on in the neighborhood to your doorstep today. I really really really hope many of you will come out and help with the Luna Lake Project on the 13th 9am-5pm. We need acoustic musicians and a DJ -- anyone? anyone? Things are shaping up, It looks like we will have programs for kids during the AM -- programs to be run by Adams School Teachers and the YMCA -- so you can bring your kids and help us work. Work runs from 9-2pm (or when we get done) and then we hope to have entertainment and fun from 2-5pm. Bring your own food and supplies to BBQ and any games you want to play with your neighbors.

There is a lot going on in town this weekend. I've attached messages from Ypsicitylist but here is a brief summary.

Crossroads Music Festival on Washington St. Starts tonight and is every Friday evening through the summer -- Tonight it is going to be held inside Club Devine because Robert DeNiro and folks are filming on Washington St.

Wednesday the 10th -- the first PPNA day at the Midwest Sliders if you get money to me by Tuesday tickets are $5.00 a piece. If you are a big three worker or UAW member you get Sliders tickets for $1.00 and combo meals for $4.00 for any home game the rest of the year. If you want to go to the game as part of the PPNA group and qualify for the $1.00 ticket let me know. I just want to get a number into the Sliders of how many folks are going. The games are really fun.

The Orphan Car show is this Sunday at Riverside Park -- The Orphan Car Show is a great event. There are a lot of cars there that you won't see very often. I think there is a nominal charge but they do have a drive by and review. You can sit in one spot and learn about some of the fantastic cars on display.

Check out the items below for more info.

Take care,
