We are hoping you will join us at the joint April neighborhood association meeting, (4/1, Wed., 7P at Adams School, multi-purpose room). On that evening, we’ll all have a walk-through of Prospect Park to focus on what needs to be done and what we are willing to do to keep our park nice for us all. 

(Consider bringing an umbrella.) 


Some of the ideas we have been considering are: 


Mulch around trees (the city provides the mulch, etc.) 

Mulch around fencing by the tennis court 

Mulch around the playground equipment 

Re-roof the pavilion 

Pick up litter/sticks, esp. the day before the city mower comes 

Plant shrubs in strategic areas to keep vehicles from pulling up into the park itself. 

Weed 

Clean up the ball field (lay sand, etc) 

Repair/replace grills 

Volunteer with and help start organized programs for the park (YMCA) 







Our job is to figure out what we want to do to help, get the word out, and excite the neighbors about getting involved and helping out.
