Hello Neighbors,
I hope you have all recovered from the Police Chase the other evening. I want to credit you all with keeping your sidearms at your side unlike the vigilante in another neighborhood.
Just want to remind you that the Jamboree is coming up this weekend. They still have some shifts to fill if you are interested in volunteering go to the-jamboree.com

Taco Tour Two
Saturday, September 26, 2009, 1pm Recreation Park
Elm and Congress, Ypsilanti
$20 gets you a ride around town, a custom Taco Tour T-shirt from VGKids, 5 tacos (meat or veggie), a spoke card. Ends at the Corner.
There you will have a chance to taste Mike O’Briens famous “Chips and Salsa” beer and re-cap your afternoon with fellow Taco Tourists.

The Most Amazing Stand up Comedy in the Land from NYC.
The show is comprised of Kenny Zimlinghaus, a hilarious comedian from New York who co-hosts a daily morning show on SIRIUS XM satellite radio's "Cosmo Radio;" Vince Averil, Michigan native who has been seen on Comedy Central and hosts a weekly live stand up show at NYC's Beauty Bar; Jesse Popp, also from Michigan, who has appeared on Comedy Central's Premium Blend; and Greg Johnson, named one of the Top 10 comedians in New York, by New York Magazine, and hosts a weekly show at Pianos in NYC.

Emergent Arts presents Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot
Since its debut in the late 40s, early 50s, Waiting For Godot has been intriguing, mystifying, entertaining, irritating, elevating and enthralling audiences around the world. Is it a tragedy? Is it a comedy? The author, Samuel Beckett labeled it both, and so it is, a work that exploded what theatre was supposed to be, leaving in the aftermath fresh ground for everything new that came after.

Growing Hope's 5th annual food and garden gala
Hope's Harvest is the largest annual fundraiser for Growing Hope, Washtenaw County's non-profit organization.
