Hello Neighbors 

If you want to know what is going on with the Freighthouse come out to the Rec Park Senior Center tonight at 7pm - there will be a talk. 

I have a Twitter Account called 'YpsilantiEvents' I plan on making this a great source for those folks that want to know what events are going on in the City. If you want to follow these Tweets on your Cell Phone via Text Messaging (if you have unlimited Text it won't cost anything) text the words On Ypsilantievents to 40404 If your phone is assigned to Twitter you'll start receiving them, if it is not you can go online and create a twitter account or follow the text prompts and it will set up an account for you via text.

Hey, Kurt. We found a young pit bull mix on the corner of Stanley and Gordon this afternoon. She was young, probably about 6-8 months, extremely friendly, and responded to basic commands. She was only wearing a choker chain and wasn't microchipped, so we have no way of finding the owner. I didn't recognize her, so I don't think she was one of Chuck's. 

We took her to the Humane Society of Huron Valley. The address is: 3100 Cherry Hill Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105. 

We'll be putting up posters around the neighborhood this evening. I'd appreciate it if you could e-mail the neighborhood to let people know, in case someone knows her owner.

Speaking of Neighborhood Pets - who owns the Orange Cat with a bobbed tail? I ran into it the other night and I think it might be an indoor cat that escaped for a night of fun in the big city. I sure was a sweet cat. If this is yours and it is an indoor cat let me know and I'll hold onto it and contact you.
