November 9, at 6 p.m., Ypsilanti City Council will kick off a series of
goal-setting meetings that will chart the city’s course for the next two
fiscal years. Due to the steep decline in revenues and creeping expenses
(see graph below), city services and expenses must be prioritized and
restructured. During these meetings city staff will be presenting budget
balancing options. </span></p>

goal-setting meetings are the best way to learn more about how city government
