YPS has issued a plan to reduce its deficit. One is to repurpose Adams School -- <a href="http://www.annarbor.com/news/ypsilanti-public-schols-proposes-schol-closings/">Read the Article Here</a> <br><br> I don't have kids but I do know that I like the 'new' Principal at Adams a lot. If you want to keep the school open or at least make a good showing of it I suggest mobilizing. I believe there are a lot of reasons to keep Adams open and most of them are due to the community involvement and Prospect Park. The YMCA summer programs are involved with the school and use the park, We are looking to help develop a curriculum that uses the Luna Lake Native Garden and the possible new community garden. These are the types of things that we need to bring to the schoolboard. Don't go to them saying "Don't close my school" tell them why. <br><br> If you want to get involved let me know.
