holding for over 150 days. His cruelty case is coming up in court on
February 4th, 2010 and it is the hope of the humane society that Judge
Mike Gerou will release Niko to the HVHS so that he can be placed in a
loving, forever home immediately. He has been treated for the injuries
and neglect and needs to be in a home, not a shelter. It would also be
wonderful if the "owner" be made responsible for Niko's medical
treatment, boarding and court expenses. Please write or e mail the
